The top line from last Saturday was that the Firsts bowled and fielded really well against Division leaders Chadlington, only to not get going with the bat in response to a very getable 141 and ultimately went down, unable to hold-out for a draw.  The Seconds fared similarly, but were able to hold-on and were second best in a draw with Kidlington. Player of the day for the firsts was Rammy for his 25th five wicket haul for 24 runs, Jedi moment was for Stu’s full-stretch catch on the run at mid on and dunce of the day was Sam Smith for Jinxing Rob Preston’s wicket the ball before it happened. Seconds, player of the day was Derek for his all-round performance, Jedi moment was Andy Cork’s run-out and dunce of the day was Joe for some misfielding.

The ladies took full points as their opposition cancelled the game due to the number of players they had self-isolating.
